I didn't write as much as I would have liked, given I had the day off from work. I overslept during my nap and ended up watching a movie too. I'm going to write more but I'll wait until 12:01 so I can keep the stats clear. My goal is to reach 22K by the end of Friday. That means I've got two days to write 5,920 words.

I'm pleased with my first session of writing. The second session after my nap was pretty bad. It felt like I'd lost the emotional thread from this morning but I say onward and upward. I will have plenty of time in January for the first round of edits so until then, I shake my fist at my internal editor and say, "Quiet you!"
