So today was a productive day. Not as productive as I would have liked, given that I didn't have to work today. I wanted to reach 12K but my brain is fried. I'm spending too much time procrastinating and then I want to edit every other paragraph when I should be focused on just getting the story out. Write and worry about editing later.

My energy was VERY low today, mainly because this story started getting depressing, which is NOT what I planned. We'll see what happens tomorrow. According to my outline, my main character Kendra is supposed to get some more depressing news. I'm not looking forward to that scene but I have to work tomorrow from Noon-9:00 p.m. so I will be forced to get the words out, no matter what because if I stay on task, I will be finished early, according to this nifty software.

Okay, I'm going to zone out and watch TV now.
