I am sore. I worked out with a friend yesterday. We did about 40 minutes of cardio (low then high impact) and about 20 minutes of free weights. I think the weights got me. I could hardly lift my arm to brush my hair this morning!

And that's not the only place--I can feel it in my sides too. It didn't seem like such a big deal yesterday. I'm turning 30 next month and I feel like an out-of-shape hag. It's got to get better. Strangely, I didn't take a day off just because I was sore. I made sure to stretch for a good while and did cardio for 40 minutes but I didn't lift weights because I was told that the muscles need time to rest.

Just the thought of going back to weight lifting tomorrow makes me wanna cry. The cardio I can do. It's the weights I hate.
