NaNoWriMo Day 1 Stats

I'm done writing for tonight. I took off work early to run errands. I'm impressed that most of these words were written during my lunch hour. I just got finished writing the last 500-600 in this chunk and I can tell I'm getting tired so enough gor today. I must pace myself! Tomorrow should be a stellar day since I won't have to work. I have all day to write. I'm going out with Kristie to celebrate her birthday but that won't be until the evening. I'm using her celebration as incentive. Get all my writing done in the morning and afternoon and celebrate in the evening.

I've decided that I'm not posting excerpts this year. I do not like showing work in progress. It steals something from the potential of what could be with more attention after NaNo. I won't show this to the world until it's ready. I feel happy and confident about this one but this is only day one so for now...chocolate and a relaxing television show.
