This girl rocks--and she gives me incentive to keep pushing towards my own dream! I can't believe they've banned her just because she's female--those parents are just embarrassed that their sons are getting out-scored by a GIRL!
Trust me to find the silver lining, but what's very cool is that the show had her on, and that her parents and teammates supported her. I cannot imagine that happening here (in Korea).
A girl on a boy's team would be unimaginable enough, let alone the boys praising her and saying that her "goodness" rubs off on the rest of the team. (I rather doubt most parents would even approve of her being on the boys' team here, let alone support the fight against her being banned from it. She'd probably be told to stop wasting time on that and study math and English harder.)
I only wished the news guy had gone ahead and mocked those stupid other parents who had moved to have her banned. Maybe it'd be counterproductive, but on the other hand, those idiots deserve it.
I enjoyed that moment when her male teammate praised her skills.
Really, it makes me think about the future of sports, particularly when we can start genetically enhancing the human body. And of course, I can't help but think of that movie Gattica. Anyway, it would have been interesting to hear from those parents who complained. Cowards!

I notice the boy they interviewed didn't mind her playing with them. Freaking parents, instilling bogus gender limitations in their children.

And yes, I'd love to see those coward parents defend their complaints on the air. But of course, they'd decline, because they're cowards.
