WARNING: Spoilers/Questions about the season finale of LOST, season 4

Did the crew members on the rescue boat call Penny what I THINK they called her??? MS. WHIDMORE?! WTF?! Is she friend or foe?!

I'm convinced now that Claire, Jack's dad, and Michael are really truly dead! I'm not so sure about Jin though. Maybe he was able to jump off the boat before it exploded. That must be why his wife is willing to work with Mr. Whidmore. That must be why she just smirked and walked away when he asked about her motives.

I've said it once and I'll say it again--John is a simp! Why did he let Ben bounce like that?! Ben said that the person who moved the island wouldn't be able to come back to the island. So Ben gets the get-out-of-jail-free card?! If I were John, I would have been like, "Oh no you don't!" So basically, Ben can't go back to the island but he shows up and tells Jack that the original 6 have to go back?!

And why is John dead?! More than that, why is John now being called Jerry?!

At first I thought the island may have been caught between space but we know that in the future, sexy Sawyer makes a call to Kate. Also, in the future, John (or Jerry) is in the casket. So that tells me they can't be stuck in time. Somehow, they jump to the future or to some time in place.

Where did the island go?

Does Walt not know his father is dead?! Why didn't Hugo tell Walt that he saw the boat explode?!

I'm beginning to think that the reason the original 6 have to go back is because they are supposed to DIE! Ala "Final Destination" the movie. That's why Jack said Jerry told him terrible things happened to the ones left behind. Jack and the rest weren't supposed to leave because they're supposed to die; they need to meet their maker! Not that I believe in Catholicism but maybe the ones left behind on the island are in Purgatory. The original 6 have to go back so the souls on the island can be released. Everyone was on that plane for a reason. You can't cheat death, right?

That may also explain why Claire appeared to Kate in a dream, begging her not to take her child back. Claire is dead but she wants her baby to live. Unfortunately, I think they all have to die.

Richard, the unaging man, could be a guardian angel, which would explain how and why he jumps time. We know there's been many stories of people dying and walking into the light only to be greeted by loved ones. Maybe that's what Richard meant by "welcome home."

Ben escaped. I believe he's alive but he's in his own personal hell. I believe he knows it too since he admitted to being responsible for the deaths on the boat.

Also, I think Ben has a special voodoo spell over anyone he speaks to. Did you hear the creepy way he told John to hand him his weapon and his response to killing everyone on the boat? So?? SO?! Maybe that's why John always acts like a simp and why people seemingly trust him and follow his directions. I wouldn't have cut him out of the restraints if I were Kate! Why'd she do that?! He MUST have some sort of power over his words.

Well, none of this really explains why John (Jerry) makes it to the future and why Sawyer is still alive so I'm sure my theories are all incorrect.

My goodness, I just love this show. I'm going to buy the first 3 seasons and watch it all over again!

LOST ROCKS MY WORLD! (Is it strange that I like being teased by a story?!)

:o)

Are there any other fans out there who are much smarter than I am and can answer some of my questions? I can't wait until next season!
